Diploma in Ayurveda Nursing and Punchakarma Therapy (ANPT),approved by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
The AHMA (Ayurveda Hospital Management Association ) is stepping in to
take a decisive impact on the vuisble lack of resouces in Ayurvedic
medical assistance nationally, and specifically for Kerala. According
to a recent news release, the AHMA, “with the support of speciality
hospitals in Kerala is starting a diploma course approved by National
Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). The paramedical course will be
known as Diploma in Ayurveda Nursing and Punchakarma Therapy (ANPT).
The duration of the course is one year.“
The syllabus of the course was prepared by an academic sub committee
consisting eminent doctors and academicians and got the approval of
NCVT. The course will equip the students to manage services of
hospital nurses, masseurs and therapists,according to the press
The five Ayurveda hospitals who would be hosting the first batch of
- Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala,Sreedhareeyam
- Ayurvedic Eye Hospital Kootthattukulam,
- Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital, Ernakulam,
- Dhathri Ayurveda Hospital, Kayamkulam
- Moulana Abdul Rasak Moulavi Hospital, Kozhikode.

Ayurveda Hospital Management Association (AHMA) in Kerala will soon kick start a training programme for resident doctors and staff nurses of its member hospitals to manage common emergency situations such as difficulty in breathing, sudden vomiting, hypertension, body pain etc. affecting the patients admitted in the Ayurveda hospitals. The training protocols include methods of Ayurveda and allopathy and will be carried out in association with allopathy doctors who are interested to support Indian systems.

4. Method of preparation etc
