Authentic Ayurveda
AHMA India is a national association committed to preserving authentic Ayurvedic practice and supporting the growth of private Ayurvedic healthcare. We connect hospitals, practitioners, and students to improve quality standards, hospital management, and professional development in the sector. Our role includes policy advocacy, insurance representation, accreditation support, legal guidance, and scientific consultation to help hospitals provide safe, reliable, and evidence-based treatment.
Along with professional support, we also promote social responsibility through initiatives like the Sainik Mitram scheme, teleconsultation services, and community welfare programs. With a balance of tradition and modern healthcare needs, AHMA India works to make Ayurveda more accessible, trusted, and respected across the nation.

Our goal is to ensure that Ayurveda is not only preserved as an ancient healing tradition but also recognized, trusted, and widely utilized as a dynamic, patient-friendly, and easily accessible healthcare system for everyone.

Goals Of AHMA
stronger healthcare future
The Ayurveda Hospital Management Association (AHMA) was established to unite the Ayurvedic community under one strong and supportive network. AHMA believes that Ayurveda grows when hospitals, practitioners, students, researchers, and supporters work together. The association nurtures collaboration so that the community can learn, uplift one another, and collectively strengthen Ayurveda.
Knowledge sharing is at the heart of AHMA’s mission. Through conferences, academic programs, publications, and digital initiatives, AHMA promotes continuous learning. It also encourages collaboration with modern medical sciences, research sectors, and public health to support innovation and wider acceptance of Ayurveda.
AHMA is committed to preserving the authenticity of Ayurveda while adapting it to modern healthcare needs. Through awareness programs, education, and capacity-building initiatives, AHMA ensures Ayurveda remains trusted, accessible, and relevant for present and future generations.
In addition to growth, AHMA addresses essential system needs—advocating health insurance coverage for Ayurvedic treatments, fighting misinformation, and supporting hospital accreditation and quality standards. By working with government bodies and healthcare institutions, AHMA pushes for stronger policies, recognition, and sustainable development of Ayurveda.
AHMA
AHMA supports patients by providing medical loans for Ayurvedic treatments, making healthcare accessible through easy and affordable instalments. We also enable access to medicines, raw drugs, equipment, and professional staff across the world.
We guide Ayurvedic start-ups in India and abroad with legal assistance, hospital setup, trained doctors, therapists, and equipment to ensure successful establishment and operation.
Our Medical Value Travel program allows visitors to experience Kerala and Ayurveda together. AHMA connects international patients to the best hospitals and specialised treatment centers based on their needs.
AHMA runs senior-care centers providing treatment, nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term accommodation. We also organize health camps and awareness programs along with social and community organizations.
Our Scientific Committee helps young doctors gain practical knowledge and supports the healthcare system during pandemics. The Sainika Mithram program offers special-tariff Ayurvedic treatments to soldiers and their families.
AHMA provides certified training for doctors and therapists, upgradation programs, insurance support, bulk purchase assistance, and administrative guidance. We help hospitals improve management, quality standards, and daily operations.
