On September 5, 2024, the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi (KVVES) Youth Wing, Meppadi Unit, honored Ayurveda Mitram, Wayanad for offering continuous free Ayurvedic treatment and long-term rehabilitation support to families affected by the Mundakai landslide tragedy. The event, held at Hotel Paris, Meppadi, was a heartfelt tribute to their compassionate service beyond clinical treatment. The ceremony was welcomed by Jaleel Paloli and chaired by Salam Parol, while DMO Wayanad, Dr. Preetha, inaugurated the event, followed by a keynote address from KVVES District President, Jojin T Joy. The program was graced by several dignitaries, including P.T. Ashraf, Muneer Nedumkarana, Santosh Ambalavayal, AHMA State President Sanalkumar Kurinjikkattil, Rafeeq, and Women Wing Unit President Vanaja P.G, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Unit Treasurer Nizam. This recognition highlights the social responsibility initiative of Ayurveda Mitram under AHMA, showcasing how Ayurveda can heal communities both physically and emotionally.
