Advancing Quality in Ayurveda
On June 23, 2025, the Quality Council of India (QCI), in collaboration with the Ayurveda Hospital Management Association (AHMA), Trivandrum, organized a key awareness program in Thiruvananthapuram focused on NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) Ayush Accreditation and Certification. The session aimed to strengthen the implementation of quality benchmarks in Ayurvedic healthcare institutions and emphasized how structured accreditation can enhance patient safety, treatment efficiency, and the credibility of traditional medical systems.
The discussions highlighted the core requirements for Ayush Accreditation, step-by-step implementation methods, and detailed procedures for achieving NABH Certification. The event also explored the national vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047,” stressing the importance of Quality Bharat in shaping a robust and reliable healthcare future. The session was led by Mr. Venugopal C (Advisor, NBQP) and Dr. Reji Kumar (Principal Assessor, NABH & State Nodal Officer, Government of Kerala), and concluded with the prestigious Quality Bharat Pledge, reaffirming collective commitment to excellence in healthcare services.
